An event organizer is responsible for, managing, and organizing seasonal events all over the country. Event organizers perform various functions, such as ; organize the event from concept to finish,
Be the first smiling face participants see! As a Check-In Team Member, you’ll efficiently register thousands of excited runners while creating a fun, energetic atmosphere to kickstart their Color Run experience.
Pre-Event Setup (First Shift Only):
Organize check-in stations with waivers, bibs, and swag bags
Set up check-in tables, signage, and queue systems
Test scanning equipment and troubleshoot tech as needed
Registration Operations:
Verify participant waivers/IDs with quick accuracy
Distribute race bibs, timing chips, and color packets
Manage will-call and team check-ins efficiently
Participant Engagement:
Answer questions about wave times, course rules, and amenities
Encourage photo ops at our backdrop
Build excitement with music, cheers, and colorful energy!
Exceptional customer service skills (retail/festival experience a plus)
Comfort with basic tech (tablets, QR scanners) – training provided
Ability to handle high-volume crowds while staying organized
Morning person energy – with optional face glitter!
Must be able to use a smart cell phone, computer, or tablet to check guests in.
Job Description:
As a Color Run Setup & Breakdown Team Member, you will play a key role in creating and dismantling the vibrant, high-energy environment for participants. Your work ensures a seamless and safe experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Setup (Pre-Event):
– Lay out and secure course markers, signage, and barriers along the race route.
– Set up color stations ensuring even distribution of non-toxic color powder.
– Assemble start/finish lines, hydration stations, archways, and festival zones.
– Arrange participant check-in areas, sponsor booths, and merchandise tents.
– Assist with last-minute preparations under the direction of event coordinators.
During the Event:
– Monitor color stations for powder supply and safety.
– Guide participants and direct foot traffic as needed.
– Provide general support to event staff and volunteers.
Breakdown (Post-Event):
– Dismantle and pack up all course markers, signage, and equipment.
– Collect leftover color powder and assist with eco-friendly cleanup (sweeping, trash removal).
– Break down tents, tables, and festival structures.
– Load supplies and materials into event trucks/storage.

As a Merchandise Tent Sales Associate for the Color Run, you’ll be the face of our event retail experience, helping participants celebrate their achievement with fun, colorful memorabilia. Your role is key to driving sales, creating excitement, and ensuring smooth operations at our merchandise tent.
Responsibilities:
– Sales & Customer Service:
– Greet participants enthusiastically and assist with merchandise selections (T-shirts, hats, sweatbands, etc.).
– Process transactions quickly via cash, credit, or mobile payment systems (Square, etc.).
– Upsell or promote special event items and discounts.
Inventory & Setup:
– Help set up/take down the merchandise tent, displays, and signage.
– Track inventory levels and report stock shortages to supervisors.
– Organize and restock items neatly for a visually appealing display.
Event Engagement:
– Create a lively, fun atmosphere with music, color, and positive energy.
– Answer questions about event details (schedule, color zones, etc.).
Requirements:
– Retail, cashier, or customer service experience preferred (but not required—training provided!).
– Comfortable handling cash and mobile payment systems.
– Friendly, outgoing, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Willingness to stand for extended periods and work outdoors.
Job Description:
As a Parking Attendant for the Color Run, you’ll ensure a smooth and organized arrival/departure experience for thousands of excited participants. Your role is crucial in maintaining traffic flow, safety, and clear communication during this high-energy event.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Event Setup:
– Place and position traffic cones, signage, and barriers to direct flow
– Mark reserved areas for staff, volunteers, and ADA parking
– Set up the parking pass check-in station
During Event:
– Direct vehicles efficiently to designated parking areas using flags/lights after you’ve verified their parking pass
– Answer basic questions about event timing/entrance locations
– Monitor parking capacity and communicate with team leads about overflow
– Assist pedestrians crossing safely between lots and event area
– Enforce accessible parking compliance
Post-Event Breakdown:
– Help manage staggered departure traffic flow
– Remove all traffic control items and check for lot cleanliness
– Report any parking incidents or issues to security team
Requirements:
– Ability to stand/walk for 4-6 hour shifts in outdoor weather
– Comfortable with loud noises and enthusiastic crowds
– Clear communication skills (basic English/Spanish bilingual a plus)
– No experience needed – we provide training and safety vests!
Be the unsung hero of our Color Run! As a Clean-Up Crew Member, you’ll help restore the venue to its original condition using our eco-friendly cleanup process, ensuring we leave no trace of the colorful fun behind.
Color Powder Cleanup:
Sweep and collect non-toxic, biodegradable color powder from course and festival areas
Operate eco-friendly blowers/vacuums for large powder deposits
Properly dispose of used color materials per environmental guidelines
Site Restoration:
Remove all course markers, signage, and temporary structures
Breakdown and pack festival area equipment (tents, tables, barriers)
Inspect grounds for any leftover trash or debris
Waste Management:
Separate recyclables from general waste at designated stations
Handle post-run clothing donations (if applicable)
Assist with final venue walkthrough for client approval
Ability to perform physical work (bending, lifting 30lbs, raking/sweeping)
Comfort working in color-stained environments (we provide gloves/masks)
Team player attitude for efficient group cleanup
18+ years old
$50 bonus for crew members who stay through complete site sign-off
Take home leftover event merch (while supplies last)
Flexible shift end times – leave when area is approved

The Marketing Team will be responsible for delivering and further developing the CC’
Marketing Strategy;
Minimum of two years experience in either
events management or marketing
Our Customer service team will be in charge of answering emails sent through our website contact form, direct email, and live chat.
You’ll be the superhero solving problems before they happen and turning frowns upside down – even under a rainbow of color powder!
Pre-Event (Info Hub):
Answer calls/emails about registration, parking, and accessibility
Create FAQ cards for common questions (wave times, bag check, etc.)
Prep “solution kits” (safety pins, bandaids, sunscreen samples)
Event Day (On-the-Go Support):
Staff info booths and rove with a “Need Help?” flag
Solve real-time issues:
→ Lost participants/family reunions
→ Bib/swag bag problems
→ Color powder allergies/safety
→ ADA accommodation assistance
Collect feedback for future events
Post-Event (Follow-Up):
Respond to “I lost my…” inquiries
Process compliment/complaint reports
Send personalized thank yous to standout participants
Stay calm when 10 people ask the same question simultaneously
Can project your voice over DJ music without yelling
Know how to say “no” nicely (e.g., “Let me find a workaround!”)
Have ninja-level crowd navigation skills
